We had a very special visitor to our school on Friday last when Strawberry came to visit our school. Thomas and Molly McGauran brought their pet Axolotl to school. For those of you who do not know what an Axolotl is, the axolotl is a paedomorphic salamander, one that matures without undergoing metamorphosis into the terrestrial adult form; adults remain fully aquatic with obvious external gills. Molly and Thomas told us all about their pet and knew a huge amount of information about their pet. Well Done, children because we all learned a lot.
