Third Sunday of Advent (13 / 14 Dec)
The 3rd Sunday is known as Gaudete Sunday. The pink or rose coloured candle is lit on the Advent Wreath. It is also known as Bambinelli Sunday.
We invite families to bring their Baby Jesus figure from their crib at home to Masses next weekend in the parish. At Mass the priest will bless all the Baby Jesus figures.
Families take them home, wrap the figure in Christmas paper and place under the Christmas Tree. On Christmas morning this present is the first one to be opened and will be placed in the crib in their homes.

Parish Carol Service
This takes place on Sunday 14 December at 7pm in St. Patrick’s Church, Belleek. Children and families, as well as parishioners are welcome to attend to listen to carols and readings. Music will be provided by the combined parish choirs and by members of Belleek CCE.
